| A complete refurbishment of the roofing and cladding following a fire in the building. Initially, we were called in to undertake cleaning and immediate repairs, before returning to complete the refurbishment. Interesting to see black internal lining panels, which were required by the client. |
Park Royal
We were called to this project in early 2019 following a significant fire within the unit. Initially, we were engaged to clean the smoke damaged area and undertaken urgent roof repairs. Then, after a gap, we replaced the rest of the roof and external cladding. We used a built-up insulated roofing system with black liner panels to replace the roof. Usually, liners are bright white to enhance the natural light levels within a building, but in this instance, black was the client’s requirement, as it helps with lighting for the film studio inside.
New roof lights were Incorporated with the new roofing system, together with smoke vents and a rainwater system. The cladding to the elevations was also replaced, which looks striking in Anthracite grey finish.
