Company Accreditations
“What gets measured gets done”
Working to the Highest Business & Industry Standards
When making your decision on which contractor to use for your project it is important that they are properly qualified for the job. Not only is Welbro accredited to the most demanding industry standards like “SafeContractor” & “Constructionline” but they have also achieved “Investors in People” & “ISO14001” two general business accreditations based on general best practice. We are members of the most recognised industry body, the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC), for our core business of Roofing & Cladding. This shows our commitment to quality and the highest standards in our field.
Do Accreditations Matter? Yes, They Show:
- Commitment to our Business
- Commitment to Quality Workmanship
- Commitment to Our Clients
- Commitment to Improvement
Industry Approved
The NFRC vet all their approved contractors prior to awarding membership status. It doesn’t finish there, they regularly visit and monitor their members to ensure that the highest industry and business standards are being maintained. They also provide technical support to their members that include both contractors and industry manufacturers & suppliers. It is a community dedicated to the improvement of standards within the industry both real and perceived.
Constructionline & SafeContractor are industry accreditations, achieved only by demonstrating the highest standards in all aspects of contracting, including Health & Safety, but also financial stability and compliance with a wide range of legislation.
Business Approved
Investors in People is widely recognised as a framework for building a well run and organised business. Welbro first achieved accreditation to this standard in 2004 and have maintained it ever since. It has helped to create a solid foundation on which to build a strong and successful company. Its three-stage continual cycle of “Leading” “Supporting” & “Improving” helps Welbro to organise, implement and review its policies and procedures in our pursuit of continual improvement.
Welbro is aware that construction, like all businesses, affects the environment that we live in. Therefore, we felt that it was important to do everything within our power to protect the environment. This started with an environmental policy, written from scratch and centred on Welbro. This policy was reviewed, improved and developed until it was good enough to be accredited with the ISO140001 standard, something we are very proud of.
Commitment to Quality
Welbro doesn’t like tick boxes. We have never sort an accreditation or standard just for the sake of it or to tick a box. All the accreditations that we have achieved are relevant to our business and demonstrate to our clients a commitment to quality. All accreditations are evaluated before we start the process, to make sure that they will improve our business in some meaningful way. We are always looking at the next accreditation that will improve our business.
